The Hameri Story

Straight from the jungles of Corbett and the rolling meadows of Kumaon, Hameri brings to you a curated line of farm-fresh and handmade products. We are a group of enthusiastic local women living around the Corbett Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand. We have come together as the Corbett Gramin Mahila Sangathan to share with you our age-old secrets: traditional recipes passed down by our ancestors which are now providing us with a new means of livelihood through our brand, Hameri.

At the heart of everything we do is our community. Our members who handcraft these products, locals from whom we source raw materials, trainers who help build our capacities and develop products, our supporters who share our story and of our products, WWF-India and its partners – together we make up Hameri.
